The Triangle is known for having good BBQ and I like to think of myself as a little bit of a BBQ connoisseur. When I heard the news The BBQ Lab—known outside of North Hills as The Redeck BBQ Lab —was opening at 4120 Main at North Hills Street, I had to help spread the word.

I’m excited to once again partner with my teammate Annie Meadows and Raleigh Weekend for our annual Ham Jam giveaway! Named after the line of cars that inevitably queues up at local Honey Baked Ham stores around the holidays, this giveaway has become somewhat of a tradition for us. We make that line a little bit more worth it by treating one lucky Raleigh Weekend winner to a $50 The Honey Baked Ham Company gift card. Enter here for a chance to win by Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at midnight!
It has been a busy November 2022 and I have loved every minute!

I was very excited to be a VIP sponsor of the Raleigh Ducks Unlimited Fall Banquet this year which took place on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022, at the Kerr Scott Building. I want to thank everyone who joined us to make this event such a success. I hope you all like the tumblers!

There are lots of local events planned for the new year! DU events are always fun and more importantly, the revenue generated from these events is critical to their mission and the future of waterfowl hunting.
All-In is a non-profit organization supporting our cancer community with poker tournaments to raise funds for local communities. Whether you’re a player, a spectator, or simply donate online, it’s a fun way to bring together and support anyone touched by this serious disease.
What’s Your Favorite Charity?
I am always looking for new ways to give back to the community. In lieu of mailing Christmas cards this year, I would rather make a donation to a local charity. I have done this for the last couple of years and really enjoyed learning about so many new nonprofits from our clients who have recommended their personal favorites when it comes to giving back in Raleigh and the surrounding area.
Email me your favorite charity at Ryan@HudsonResidential.com and whichever charity has the most nominations by Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at 5 p.m., I will donate my Christmas card money to this special cause.
I recently stumbled across an article in Raleigh Magazine entitled “The Future of Raleigh”, and I wanted to share it with all of you. The article gives you an inside look at 11 of the hottest Raleigh development projects now underway—and shaping the future of our city.
In just one weekend on the market, my latest listing at 1506 Nature Court in Raleigh received multiple offers, reminding us that even though the Raleigh market is beginning to cool, attractive homes are still moving fast!
