Homes That Are Always on Par: Golf Course Communities in the Triangle
Ready to tee off? You are in the right place. The Triangle has some of the top golf course communities for you to choose from. Course designers such as Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicholas have created courses right here in our own backyard! If your dream is to be able to wake up and walk to a tee box or look out your window and take in gorgeous views of the fairway, I would love to show you around the links The Triangle has to offer. Not a golfer? These neighborhoods have many other amenities for you to take advantage of like pools, clubhouses, tennis, social events, shuffleboard, and so much more. Below, I have highlighted a few of my favorite golf course communities. Contact me today at 919-438-0548 or Ryan@HudsonResidential.com if anything catches your eye and we can tee up a time to see it.
Country Club Hills (Raleigh)
Country Club Hills is located right off Glenwood Avenue with one of Raleigh’s most exclusive golf courses, Carolina Country Club, serving as its centerpiece. This established neighborhood has a variety of homes. There are homes dating back to the 1950s as well as new custom estates. Many of the older homes have been renovated but still have a southern-style charm. One of my favorite things about this neighborhood is every home is different and has so much character. The course itself is beautiful and many of the homes have breathtaking views of the holes and lakes.
Carolina Country Club is one of the nation’s best private clubs and has been recognized as a five-star Platinum Club by a respected industry survey of peer club managers and presidents and earned the designation of a distinguished Emerald Club of the World by Boardroom Magazine. Members have access to golf, tennis, wellness, youth activities, aquatics, and food and beverage service.
12 Oaks (Holly Springs)
If you are looking for resort-style living right outside of Raleigh, 12 Oaks should be your next stop. Near I-540, this master-planned community includes an award-winning Nicklaus-designed golf course, a resort-style pool, a playground, a garden, a fitness center, fun social events, outstanding culinary experiences, and a clubhouse. Homes range from ranch-style to three stories. Think spacious lofts, chef’s kitchens, relaxing primary retreats, golf course views, open-concept floorplans, deluxe outdoor living spaces, and more.
Preston (Cary)
Preston is a scenic golf course community centered around Prestonwood Country Club and Preston Village. Established in 1988, Prestonwood Country Club has 54 holes of championship golf, 15 tennis courts, an expansive fitness and aquatics center, an active Kids Club, and countless social and dining events. Preston is known for its lush landscaping, open park, private lake, and playground area. Preston has something for everyone. Townhomes, villas, single-family homes, breathtaking estate homes and mansions, and more. Many of the homes offer first-floor primary bedrooms, large kitchens, garages, and, of course, the views you expect in a golf course community.
North Ridge (Raleigh)
North Ridge is an established golf community tucked away in the heart of North Raleigh. Originally developed in 1976, this community has townhomes, single-family homes, and estates, with many of them being recently renovated. Home styles vary from traditional to transitional to contemporary to craftsman to ranch-style homes. There are also new homes being built in the community. The neighborhood surrounds North Ridge Country Club and Golf Course.
North Ridge Country Club and Golf Course features two championship 18-hole courses, a state-of-the-art Learning Center, and six Golf Professionals. In addition to golf, there is a resort-style junior size Olympic pool complete with seven lap lanes, three water slides, a diving board, and kids splash zone. There are also tennis courts, pickleball courts, a youth program, fitness center, and restaurants.
