How to Celebrate July Fourth in Raleigh ๐ŸŽ†: 2021 Edition

Who else is ready to celebrate July 4, 2021, in the Triangle? After a crazy year, we all deserve a little fireworks. ๐ŸŽ† Whether you are looking for bounce houses, lights, live music, or incredible pyrotechnic displays, Raleigh and the surrounding areas have some big things planned for this year. Many of these events were canceled last year due to COVID-19, so I am excited to get back out there and support the community. VisitRaleigh.com has an awesome list of what’s happening but I have highlighted a few that I am looking forward to below.

Firework Displays in Raleigh NC

Raleigh 4th of July Fireworks Display: Sunday, July 4

The City of Raleigh’s annual July Fourth fireworks will be held around the Stadium and Arena Complex (Carter-Finley Stadium and PNC Arena area). Free parking to view the fireworks will be available within the PNC Arena and Carter-Finley Stadium. Lots open at 6 p.m. Fireworks launch at 9:30 p.m.

Star-Spangled Block Party at Brier Creek Commons: Sunday, July 4

Briar Creek Commons July 4 Block Party in Raleigh NC

The Star-Spangled Block Party is back! This July 4, join Brier Creek Commons Shopping Center for an evening full of festivities and fun. There will be live music with DJ Mark McNally in the clock tower area. Find your spot in the Brier Creek Commons for one of the largest fireworks shows that begins after dark. The fireworks soundtrack will be broadcast on Kix 102.9, just tune in after dark and listen to the choreographed show live.

Garner July 3 Independence Day Celebration: Saturday, July 3

Garner July 4 Celebration

Grab a blanket and head to Garner’s Lake Benson Park for an evening of patriotic entertainment. The Independence Day Celebration starts at 5 p.m. with food vendors, kids crafts, tours of the Garner Veterans Memorial, and more. The North Carolina Symphony will put on a patriotic program at 8:30 p.m., followed immediately by fireworks.

Town of Cary’s July 4th Celebration: Sunday, July 4

A Triangle tradition is BACK! Head to Koka Booth Amphitheatre for a salute to the red, white, and blue as they honor the birthday of the U.S.A. with patriotic favorites, high-spirited classics, and a fireworks display over Symphony Lake.
