Join Me at Hope Jam Raleigh
On September 1, category-five storm Hurricane Dorian made direct landfall in the Northwestern Bahamas, completely devastating the Abacos and Freeport. An estimated 70,000 Bahamians are now homeless and the recovery effort will take years. Many of us have been left wondering what we can do to help.
Hope Jam is here to jumpstart that effort and I’m proud to be joining in as an event sponsor.
Join me on Thursday, October 24, 2019, for Hope Jam Raleigh at Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park at North Hills. Enjoy music from Mama’s Love, Midnight Snack, and Steamroom Etiquette. Beer and seltzer will be sold throughout the night from drink sponsor, R&D Brewing. Local favorite food truck, Cousins Maine Lobster, will be out in the park, as well. To learn the lineup or to get more information, visit hopejamraleigh.com.
All proceeds from the concert will go to Caribbean Youth Network (CYN), a 501c3 nonprofit that will focus on revitalizing the people of the Abacos and Freeport who lost their homes and livelihoods, by helping them find temporary housing, purchase new school uniforms, and live with dignity while their homes are rebuilt. Learn more about the awesome work CYN is doing in the areas that need it most: https://www.caribbeanyouthnetwork.org/.
Purchase your tickets today! I look forward to seeing everyone there.
